Mr. Monnat and Chris are organizing a trip to a scout camp in historic Gettysburg where BSA has permission to camp at the battlefield and tour certain areas not open to the general public. A trip is being planned for the week of April 15 during spring break. The group will depart on Saturday and return on Wednesday, driving to Pennsylvania. Cost is estimated at $ 175/person covering transportation, meals, and some attractions. A non-refundable deposit is due by November 15. A sign up will be posted at the Scout House. Scoutmaster Scribbles
I wanted to compliment the boys of Troop 10 ( and the SPL’s) for a well organized, respectful Court of Awards on September 27th. Over 60 merit badges were awarded in addition to a dozen rank advancements. I was very pleased to see the boys properly attired with Class A uniforms, solid salutes and good attention given the awardees. Meetings like this honor Scouting and our troop and create a much more pleasant experience for all involved.Way to Be, Troop 10 !!!!!
